OUR HISTORY

The Portal was launched in 2014 in response to the significant concerns expressed by both the Canadian Federation of Medical Students and the AFMC Standing Committee on Undergraduate Medical Education regarding the complexity and inconvenience medical students face when applying for electives in Canada. See how the AFMC Student Portal re-shaped the way Canadian medical schools manage visiting electives.
